| The Cockney | Well, somebody in Leyland must have a TV. Joking aside if you're up for a banter on this seasons Formula One I'll be happy to argue with a northerner. Yes Schumacher is wonderful but Montoya and Button are the boys to watch. Never dismiss Renault, they are the masters of this game and will be winning next season. Watch Felipe Massa, he's a wild eyed boy racer. Once he's had a few shunts he'll be up there. Just for good measure I liken David Coulthard to a Thunderbird Puppet.

Not sure about Renault Mark, they don't have the little red rule book that Schu and ferrari have in their back pocket.

| The Cockney | I agree, Ferrari are formidable. In Italy, when you reach the hot summer afternoons, nobody works. Everyone is either at the beach or jump in their Fiats and drive to the Lago. Ferrari will weaken. Unfortunately McLaren are saddled with a pooper for an engine this year but Renault....

| Martin | Well, same old story again... (yawn)
- 1 Schumacher M
- 2 Montoya
- 3 Coulthard
So who's your money on Mark?

| The Cockney | iT WAS A GOOD RACE TODAY AND SORTED OUT THE WEAKER MECHANICS. That's better. DC only got third because of mechanical failures in front of him but fair play to him, hard earnt points are what the championship is all about. Juan did well and he is still my tip for the top once Michael has tired of the No 1 spot.

I heard on the commentary on ITV that the FIA have a meeting in June?didn't catch the date, think it was 27th and part of the meeting will to take action over the Ferrari incident. Well done DC though , in house camera showed just how skilled and concentrated they have to be to travel at those speeds around the Principality circuit.

| The Cockney | What blinding race The European GP was. Nurburgring is a spectacular circuit and some of the wheel to wheel racing was magnificent.
For those of you that criticised the "team orders" debacle at the Austrian a few weeks ago - YOU are the cause of the last 10 laps being so boring yesterday! Schumacher would've trounced his No 2 if he hadn't have been worried about losing points at the FIA Judical Hearing this week!
Bernie Ecclestone has produced the worlds most successful motorsport , don't let the Do Gooders and Bureaucratic Tossers change it!

| noel | i think "Schumy" lost it legitimately when he span off near the end and lost over 10 seconds. What bad luck the Jordan team's having. Is that 2 or 3 times their drivers have collided with each other and had to end their race prematurely? Eddie Jordan must be livid.

I think that's rubbish Mark, Schuey never let the rules bother him in the past and he's not going to change now. Ever since he first got into a formula one car, he's done whatever he wanted to to win.

| rocketmanjohn | Every credit to Jensen Button. At last he has a car that seems to be coming good and he is able to show the talent he obviously has a lot of.

Yes absolute rubbish Mark. If team orders hadn't been in place in Austria the better driver on the day , Barricello would have gotthe 10 points. It's not about "do-gooders" it's about being fair andnot cheating the public.
