MartinHayley has been doing some work on Holby City. She played the part of a nurse a couple of months ago and that episode is due out soon. We think it's this Tuesday. I'm not sure how long the scene is, but keep an eye out for her. She went back to do more work for them last week, that will be shown about September.

Hey that's good Martin, I meant to ask Haley if she could give us some warning when she's on the telly so we can cheer her on. Does she complain like most actresses that TV image adds a few pounds weight? This is the nearest I have got to someone who's going to be famous apart from when I spoke to Robin Nedwell 20 years ago on a golf course.
MartinRobin Nedwell eh, well he was quite famous many moons ago.
noelDammit it was Richard O'Sullivan I think, the bloke who was in Robin's Nest. My minds going.
MartinRobin Nedwell played a doctor didn't he? I remeber Robins nest, that was a follow up to Man about the house.
skitzyDoes anybody remember Ian Bleasdale ex Farington & Balshaws? apparently he plays Josh in casualty, we dont get the programme here but I looked on the web site & he looks completely different. There is a photo of him on the Balshaws site for one of the plays he was in at school. Best of luck with your acting Hayley. Eileen
Lady GriffinYes all the best Hayley.I was interested to see that in UK Ads are done by TV stars and not by ordinary folk. Here anybody of any shape or age can have the opportunity to be in Ads if they go along and try for them. LG

I believe that anyone can put their name down with the agencies. Sometimes a particular type of person is needed for an add and some agencies cater for odd looking people. I wonder which agency I should join?[:o)]
Hayleypinkawww only just saw this topic! how embarrasing! yeh i did some supporting work on holby....nothing to exciting! this tuesday you might see me assisting as a nurse while a lady called emma sands has some sort of biopsy or something.
noelOne of the cast is critically ill after a fall from her balcony. "Holby City star Laura Sadler is still critically ill in hospital after falling from a second-floor balcony. " Let's wish her a speedy recovery.
Hayleypinkshe is a school friend....such a shame, might see if a few of my school friends will go and visit her in hospital.
LDunlop76Wishing Laura a speedy recovery. Must make a note to watch Holby City tomorrow - I used to be a Casualty fan, but got a bit bored with it, so never started watching the spin off. Hoping it leads to more work for you, Hayley.
Hayleypinkthanks linda xx it wasnt a anything too exciting but was a great experience
noelThe BBC are undecided whether to show tonight's episode because of the accident. There doesn't appear any change in Laura's condition.
Lady GriffinThat's a sad thing to happen.Do hope there is a rapid improvement soon. NZ is in for many films to be made here. There have been a lot of productions in the last few years but the number is set to increase dramatically. Latest film made for US TV was filmed 5 mins away in and around Henderson where I live "Red Head .The Lucille Ball Story." Employment for 2000 or more locals plus some American stars. The attraction is the relative low cost involved. LG
noelThe family of Laura agreed the show would go on to their credit. I have never watched it before, it was mainly about blood and gore but Art Malik is a superb actor.I missed Hayley though, the washing machine sprang a leak and flooded the kitchen, 20 minutes later when I'd cleaned up the show had ended.
Hayleypinklol noel!!!!! crikey!!!!

Never mind Noel, I saw it. I have asked Hayley to keep the nurses uniform when she does the next show.
Hayleypinkrofl...
noelI thought you might want her to do that Martin.[:)] Did you get chance to talk to any of the stars Haley? And how about Laura, heard how she's doing?
Hayleypinknto good news about laura i am afraid. the will probably be turning off the life support soon. well yeh i talked to them, like at lunch in the canteen.
LDunlop76Hayley, I think I saw you last night - were you in a white tunic top? I was trying to cook and then eat while the show was on and I didn't have my full attention on the screen. Be sure to give us notice when your next episodes are due to be shown. Bad news re Laura - I know how traumatic it will be for her family if they do turn off life support.
noelTragic news, lets pray for a miracle.
Hayleypinklaura sadly passed this morning.
Hayleypinkjust had an email from ajounarlist that has obviously written to everyone in her class from friends reunited website, he asks me for any pics etc...i dont think so. so sad she was only a year older than me

Bl**dy press! They're like vultures, swooping in on other people's grief. The day my brother died a journalist appeared at his partner's house - didn't knock on the front door like anyone else would, oh no! Tried to let herself in at the back door - cheeky c*w! Luckily we were all there to comfort Sue as she found the intrusion really upsetting. If they're that bad for someone like my brother, imagine how bad they'll be when it's someone who's been in the public eye! [V] Such sad news......
Hayleypinkwow really i hope sue is getting better, you are such a good support to her
Bill RigbyFor a small country, NZ makes some pretty good movies. I saw one the other evening about a Maori family where drunkeness and violence were the themes. All Maori cast but with only 6 professional actors; the film was tense, well acted, edited.... Inshort, it succeeded in making one interested in what happens to the characters... Then there was the one about the two teenagers, one of whom murdered her mother; forget the title but I know it had 'angels' in it, but it is now a few years ago. And, of course, the Tolkien based movies are made in NZ; their main interest is in some of the great scenery, but one has to watch out since there is so much that is digital 'trickery'!
noelIt's now been confirmed on Ceefax that Laura has died. R.I.P.

Wish we could do more, but with her being an hour and a half's drive away, it's not easy. My ex-sister-in-law is being very inconsiderate at present. Because Sue and David weren't married, his estate comes to his son by his ex-wife and she's pestering Sue to hand over all David's personal effects immediately. It's only 4 weeks since he died - she's not giving Sue time to grieve. Frankly Sue's not been in any state to sort through personal belongings. It's times like this that reveal people's true characters. I do hope Laura's family will be allowed to grieve in peace. A death in such circumstances is hard enough without having to go through it all under the eyes of the media.
Lady GriffinI agree with you Hayley. LG
LDunlop76LD <~~ sits blushing in a corner! We're ALL a grand bunch of people on this forum!
