Clifton Avenue
skitzyAfter just completing a course over the last 12 weeks, at graduation I was talking to one of the other students about England. It turned out that she had emigrated to Australia when she was 7 & could still remember she had lived at Clifton ave Leyland. Her name was Stephanie Ingham & she attended the Methodist school, she's 49 now but if anybody remembers her I can let her know. Her dad was a groundsman at Leyland motors. Eileen
ThornleyMy sister-in-law is Diane Thornley. I am married to George her yongest brother. Diane still lives in Leyland. Not sure if she has internet access though.

anne.wVanessa i am mistaken, it's not Diane i remember, it's Janet Anne
ThornleyEileen, you have done well to remember all their names. They are well and still live in and around the Leyland area. Unfortunatley both my in-laws George SNR and Nora are both gone. Between the 6 of the family here is a total of 21 children! I will speak to George later, he tends to have a good memory, I'm sure he will remember you. When I next see Janet and Diane I will mention your name and Anne's. Vanessa
skitzyThanks Vanessa, I dont think George would remember me, but Diane would. Eileen
ThornleyEileen, George does have a vague memory of you. More in relation to the family business, which I also remember well myself[:)] Pity there is noting left in Leyland like that[:(] I used to love the smell of hardware stores[:)] There is a family party soon so I will mention you to Janet and Diane then.
